How i missed you so.. :)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup warm milk ( 110f-115f ) temperature must be followed or the yeast will not rise or die
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 1/2 active dry yeast
Mix it all together, then set aside. Let the yeast rise for at least 8 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the dry ingredients:
- 3 cups bread flour or all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Mix all the dry ingredients. Set aside.
- 1 egg (must be at room temperature, not cold)
- 3 tablespoon softened butter. Not melted.
At this point, your yeast should be ready.
- Make a deep hole in the middle of the dry ingredients
- Pour the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients
- Add the egg and softened butter
- Knead the dough using a stand mixer. Dough should be smooth. Mix for about 6 to 8 minutes
- Transfer the dough into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap
- Let the dough rise until doubled in size. About an hour or so
Tip for a fast dough rising.. turn on your oven into the lowest temperature. Then turn it off once its heated. Put your covered dough into the oven. Your dough will rise faster..
for the filling
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 pcs crushed graham crackers
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar

- while the dough is rising, cook the filling
- heat the pan then add the butter
- add the graham crackers and the milk and stir
- add the flour and sugar and continue mixing until it turns into pasty consistency
- turn the heat off and let the filling rest
- once the dough is ready, deflate the dough and move into a floured surface
- divide the dough into 4 equal portions
- roll the dough into a log and cut into equal parts, i was able to make 16 pcs, you can make the bread larger size if you want to ( i made the 12 pieces large size )
- flatten the dough and then spread filling in the middle leaving spaces on the sides
- roll the dough and repeat the process until you finish
- roll the bread into a plate of bread crumbs
- place the bread into a lined parchment paper baking pan
- cover the bread and let the bread rest for another 30 minutes
- set the oven temperature to 350f
- and bake the bread for 18 to 20 minutes
- and enjoy!
