EASSIEST BREAD LOAF
i will never buy a bread loaf from the store ever again! :P this bread loaf is super soft, fluffy and a little sweet that will reminds you of a hawaiian bread.
ingredients:
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 cups lukewarm milk (about 110F to 115F)
- 1 room temperature egg
- 4 tbsp softened butter
- 1 tsp salt
directions:
- add all the ingredients into a bowl, and combine
- then start kneading the dough. you can use hand to knead the dough or a stand mixer. although this dough is hand-knead friendly, i highly recommend using a stand mixer, the dough starts off super sticky.
- keep kneading the dough until smooth and soft
- shape the dough into a ball and brush the dough with oil, or transfer the dough into an oiled bowl. cover and let the dough rise for at least 1 hour or until doubled in size (it took me 1 hour to rise the dough)
- deflate the dough and roll into a log
- divide the dough into 4 equal part
- flatten each dough, then roll again into a log.
- flatten one more time then roll again into a log. set aside
- do the same to the remaining dough
- move the rolled bread dough into an oiled brushed baking loaf pan
- cover and let the bread dough rest for another 30 to 40 minutes (depending on the temperature of your house, time may vary. it took me 35 minutes to see the dough risen)
- brush the bread dough with egg wash
- bake into 350F pre heated oven for 25 minutes or until the top of the bread turns golden brown or when you tap the top of the bread and it sounds hollow. then the bread is done
- let the bread rest in a cooling rack and serve!
