adobong gulay | filipino dish | cook with sai borg

hey riders!

in this episode in cook with sai borg, i am going to show you how to make adobong gulay (vegetables with vinegar and soy sauce). this is is a little similar to pork adobo (adobong baboy), except we don't put meat on this dish. it is purely vegetarian friendly and so good. you can make this dish on your preferred vegetables. i used squash, bitter melon, eggplant and bok choy in this dish, not only these vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals, they are also the vegetables we used to grow in our backyard growing up, so it kind of reminds me of home. :) below are the list of ingredients. enjoy!

ingredients:

  • 2 pcs bok choy
  • 1 pc eggplant
  • 1/2 of a whole bitter melon
  • 1/2 sliced squash
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 sliced of a whole onion
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

you will also need:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water

salt (which i actually didn't have to use it because of the soy sauce i used) and pepper to taste.

please refer to the video for instructions :)

hope you guys will love this dish, and if you end up making it, please tag me on facebook or instagram, i'd love to see your dish! :) thank you again for the support and until next time. :)

xo,

sai borg
