MARSHMALLOW BREAD
ingredients:
- 3/12 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk (110f-115f)
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 5 tbsp softened unsalted butter
- marshmallows
directions:
- into a bowl, add flour, sugar and salt. combine
- combine milk and active dry yeast into a mixing bowl
- add the dry ingredients into the yeast mixture
- then add the egg
- start kneading
- halfway through kneading, add the butter and continue kneading until the dough is soft (about 7 to 8 minutes)
- form the dough into a ball
- then divide the dough into 12 pieces
- take one dough and flatten it out
- then cut the flatten dough into strips leaving an inch or 2 of the dough uncut where you place the marshmallows
- roll the marshmallow while securing both sides of the dough
- place in a baking loaf pan
- cover the bread and let it sit for 30 minutes
- brush the top with milk ( if you don't like the burnt dough, skip this process)
- bake the bread to 325F pre heated oven for 15 to 17 minutes
- brush the top of the bread with butter and enjoy! (best to enjoy the bread while it's warm)
