WHITE CHOCO BREAD

ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups warm milk (110f)
  • 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • white chocolate chips (for toppings)

directions:

  1. into a mixing bowl, add the warm milk and yeast. stir
  2. add the flour, sugar and salt and stir
  3. start kneading using the stand mixer until the dough starts to come together 
  4. then add the butter and continue kneading until the dough is soft (about 5 to 7 minutes)
  5. shape the dough into a ball and put in a large bowl
  6. cover and let the dough rest for 1.5 hours or until the dough doubled in size
  7. once the dough is ready, deflate the dough 
  8. divide the dough into 12 pieces 
  9. flatten the dough into a long shape
  10. slightly cut the middle of the flattened dough leaving both ends intact 
  11. hold both ends of the dough and twist both ends in different directions 
  12. roll the dough around itself and pinch the end under the rolled dough so it doesn't unravel while baking
  13. top with white chocolate chips 
  14. repeat the process to each remaining dough
  15. cover the bread with cloth and let the bread rest for another 20 minutes
  16. pre heat the oven to 350F
  17. after 20 minutes, bake the bread to pre heated oven for 20 minutes 
  18. enjoy!
