WHITE CHOCO BREAD
ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups warm milk (110f)
- 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
- white chocolate chips (for toppings)
directions:
- into a mixing bowl, add the warm milk and yeast. stir
- add the flour, sugar and salt and stir
- start kneading using the stand mixer until the dough starts to come together
- then add the butter and continue kneading until the dough is soft (about 5 to 7 minutes)
- shape the dough into a ball and put in a large bowl
- cover and let the dough rest for 1.5 hours or until the dough doubled in size
- once the dough is ready, deflate the dough
- divide the dough into 12 pieces
- flatten the dough into a long shape
- slightly cut the middle of the flattened dough leaving both ends intact
- hold both ends of the dough and twist both ends in different directions
- roll the dough around itself and pinch the end under the rolled dough so it doesn't unravel while baking
- top with white chocolate chips
- repeat the process to each remaining dough
- cover the bread with cloth and let the bread rest for another 20 minutes
- pre heat the oven to 350F
- after 20 minutes, bake the bread to pre heated oven for 20 minutes
