SHIRATAKI CHICKEN NOODLES 

 

if you are in a low carb diet, you should give this recipe a try.. you can substitute the chicken with tofu too.

ingredients for this recipe:

  • 1 chicken breast / sliced thinly
  • 1 pack shirataki tofu noodles / 8oz 227g
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 onion
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp vinegar 
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 stalks carrots 
  • some bell peppers 
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup mixed frozen vegetables 
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp spicy oil 
  • salt and pepper to taste

directions:

  1. add water into the pot and bring to boil / to cook the shirataki noodles
  2. drain and wash the shirataki noodles well
  3. add the noodles into the boiling water and boil for 2 minutes / drain and set aside
  4. add 1 tbsp olive oil into the pot
  5. sauté the onion, tomato and garlic 
  6. add the chicken breast and stir
  7. add the 1/2 cup water and stir
  8. add the soy sauce and vinegar / stir and cover until the chicken is fully cooked
  9. add salt and pepper and stir
  10. add all the vegetables and stir. cover for 5 minutes on low heat
  11. add the oyster sauce and stir
  12. add the shirataki noodles and mix all together
  13. add more salt and pepper if needed
  14. enjoy!

BANANA BREAD ROLLS RECIPE

ingredients:

  • 3 riped bananas
  • 4 tablespoon vegetable oil 53g
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast 11g
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 2g
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 313g ( more for dusting)

directions:

  1. Into a bowl, add peeled ripe bananas and give it a good smash
  2. Then add the vegetable oil and mix well
  3. Add salt and stil
  4. Add the yeast and stir
  5. Finally, add the flour and mix well. You can also use your hand to mix the dough. The dough should be sticky
  6. Cover, or you can also use saran wrap to cover the dough and let the dough rise for until doubled in size. About 1 to 2 hours
  7. After the dough has risen, deflate the dough and move into a clean area. Add flour to the surface for it to be easy to work on.
  8. Shape the dough into a ball and divide the dough into 8 pieces
  9. Shape the dough into a ball and move into a prepared baking dish/pan
  10. Cover and let the dough rise for another 30 minutes
  11. Optional: dust the top of the bread dough with flour
  12. Bake the bread to 375F pre heated oven for 15 to 20 minutes
  13. And enjoy! 

 

P.s i enjoyed this bread with peanut butter. So yummy!
