milk bread rolls
MILK BREAD ROLLS | NO KNEAD
no time to knead, or hate kneading? try this bread rolls no knead recipe. me and my little one really enjoyed the bread.
ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 313g
- 1/4 cup dry milk 29g
- 1/4 cups sugar 61g
- 1/4 teaspoon salt 2g
- 2 1/4 teaspoon active dry yeast 10g
- 2/3 cup water 146g
- 1 egg whites | save the yolk for toppings
- 3 tablespoon softened butter
directions:
- into a bowl, add all dry ingredients ( flour, dry milk, sugar, salt, and yeast) mix all together using a spatula
- add the water and the egg whites and mix until all the ingredients are combined (dough will be a little sticky)
- add the softened butter and mix using a spatula, i personally like to use my hand, i find it more easier than spatula, mix until all combined
- move the dough into a bowl (or you can just cover the bowl you are using with plastic wrap)
- let the dough rise for 1.5 hours or until the dough doubled in size
- after the dough has doubled the size, shape the dough into a ball
- divide the dough into 8 equal size
- then shape each dough into a ball
- then place the shaped dough into a prepared baking pan
- cover and let the dough rise for another 1 hour
- when the dough is ready, brush the top with the egg yolk
- then sprinkle the top with generous amount of granulated sugar
- bake to 350f pre heated oven for 15 to 17 minutes or until the top of the bread is golden brown
